Hecky’s of Chicago - 1234 N. Halsted & Division St
From the ashes of the Cabrini Green projects rose the phoenix known as Hecky’s. This location is a split from their original surroundings of Evanston, but allowed the guys from Chicago Whitemeat to sample the fare much sooner. The chicken was good as well as the RC fountain cola. Classy presentation of a so-so sampling of legs, wings and thighs. If you’re passing by stop in and give them a try, but don’t go too far out of your way!
